Juri (쥬리, ジュリ) is a Japanese singer. She is a former member of Rocket Punch and former member of AKB48.

Career[]

2011-2018: AKB48, Produce48[]

On February 20, 2011 Juri passed the auditions for AKB48's 12th Generation. She officially started group activities as a trainee member after passing the Selection Examination on April 3. On May 22, Juri made her stage debut in the 12th Generation trainee member theater performance. Juri was promoted to Oba's Team 4 on March 24, 2012 during a AKB48 concert, before being transferred to Takahashi's Team A on August 24 of the same year.

On February 24, 2014 Juri was transferred to Kuramochi's Team B.[1]

In 2018, she became a contestant on Mnet's survival show, Produce 48. However, she was eliminated in the finale after ranking 16th place, hence not being able to debut with the winning team IZ*ONE.

Departure from AKB48, Entering Woollim: 2019[]

In March 2019, Juri graduated from AKB48, and signed to Woollim Entertainment.[2]. She was revealed as a member of Woollim's new girl group, Rocket Punch.

2024: Departure from Rocket Punch & Woollim[]

On May 24, 2024, Woollim Entertainment announced that Juri would be terminating her contract with the company and Rocket Punch would go on as a five-member group.[3]
